Product Overview
Compact Giant Papyrus (Cyperus percamenthus)
Compact Giant Papyrus is a very popular plant with water gardeners. An excellent marginal plant, it looks like Egyptian Papyrus, but is much shorter and compact, making it easier to maintain in smaller water features. The mop-like heads grow 10" to 12" across and the plant stands 30" to 36" tall. The sturdy stems help protect this plant from wind damage. Also known as Dwarf Giant Papyrus, not to be confused with dwarf papyrus (Cyperus haspan) or giant papyrus (Cyperus giganteus)! Easy to winter over as a houseplant in colder regions.
