Giant Sensitive Plant aka Botswanna Wonder (Aeschynomene fluitans)

This larger variety of sensitive plant can spread 6' to 8', or even farther. It closes when touched like the regular sensitive plant, but is not quite as sensitive and closes more slowly. Can be trained up on to rocks and streams. The one inch yellow flowers resemble the common sweet-pea. Giant Sensitive grows quickly in warm weather, and is an attractive and unusual accent plant for the water garden. Tolerates cooler conditions than the regualr sensitive plant, but is still used only as an annual plant outside, except in the very warmest Southern areas of the country.

I had ordered this plant from another dealer and it was small and mushy. The two plants I received from Lilly Blooms were beautiful and healthy. Can't wait to see them spread in the pond. Thank you!!

About 6 inch health stem. Took off right away and looks like it's ready to flower. Very healthy.

I was a little worried at first because they fif not look very happy when they arrived, but I understand that plants can get stressed in shipping. After a few days they perked up and now look adorable floating on the water. I hope they flower. That would be an added bonus to the pretty leaves
