Nymphaea 'Izia' Dwarf Yellow Hardy Waterlily
Izia is a fantastic new dwarf yellow hardy waterlily hybridized by Florian Henaux of France.
Helvola was the best (and only) dwarf yellow hardy waterlily since it was hybridized in 1879 by Marliac (also of France). One of the most famous of all waterlilies, Helvola has just been blown out of the water by Izia (pun intended).
Izia is superior in every way--a more robust grower, stronger yellow color, more pleasing flower form with many more petals, and a much longer bloom period. As growers and hobbyists with decades of experience growing Helvola, we are very excited about this new cultivar!
SIZE: Dwarf to small (2'+ Spread)
PLANTING CONTAINER: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN TO PARTIAL SHADE
WATER DEPTH: 4" TO 16" (Maximum water depth is for mature water lilies)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 4-11
Water Lilies are shipped bare root and will require planting upon arrival. Izia is a dwarf, so expect a small plant!
