Red Velvet Elvis - Red Louisiana Iris
Red Velvet Elvis is one of the best of the red Louisiana iris. This iris is very attractive with its deep, crimson red flowers with bright gold crests. The foliage is green and sword-shaped.
Hardiness Zone: 5-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 24" to 30" - Spread: 24" to 48"; spreads more quickly than most Louisiana Iris!
Water Depth: Moist Soil or water 4" to 6" above the soil (Maximum water depth is for mature plants)

Very nice plants, plants were very healthy with 3 fronds about a foot long. I ordered these months ago. There were delivered at the perfect time. They must be weather experts, they arrived at one of the first perfect days for working outside. I planted them immediately and the are looking great.

Just recieved them. Appreciated the planting instructions that were included. Followed them. Just moved to my pond. Anxious to see them bloom.

Omg these were 2 ft tall,so healthy allmy plants were I'm very impressed let's just hope I get some flowers and their red colored

I was hesitant to order because of the shipping charges even though the plant charges were very reasonable. I will ALWAYS order my pond plants from LilyBlooms in the future because they arrived looking like I just brought them home from the store. Ordered from other places who offered free shipping and the plants took a beating by the time they arrived.
