Snowflake Bells (Leucojum aestivum)
A Spring flowering bulb plant with leaves like a small daffodil, Snowflake Bells has clusters of small white hanging bell flowers.
Snowflake Bells is a pretty way to welcome Spring to the pond when most plants are just waking up. As Spring turns into Summer and other pond plants take over, it will tend to go dormant--especially in hot summer climates.
Hardiness Zone: down to Z4 in moist soil; down to Z6 or Z7 in shallow water
Planting Container: We recommend a 4" Planting Basket or a 1 Gallon Economy Planting Container.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 10"-15" - Spread: 8-12"
Water Depth: Moist soil to 2" water (Maximum water depth is for mature plants)
