Nelumbo 'Super' - Pink Changeable Hardy Water Lotus
Super lives up to its name -- a fantastic blooming multi-petal that opens pink, then pink and white, and finishes solid white. Great form, and a stack of petals that tempts us to classify it as a thousand-petal type, falling just a little short. Super has so many petals that sometimes its fat buds get a little stuck opening, and benefit from a gentle tap to spring open. Starts blooming early in the season, and just keeps blooming!

Planting Container: We recommend a 2 1/2 Gallon Solid Planting Container or a 4 1/2 Gallon Solid Planting Container.
Light Requirements: FULL SUN
WATER DEPTH: 3" TO 24" (Maximum water depth is for mature lotus)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 4-11
Lotus are sold as bare root tubers, or sometimes later in the Spring as runners with small leaves. The growing points are fragile, and must be handled very carefully.
