Nymphaea 'Wanvisa' Hardy Waterlily

Wanvisa is an award winning hardy water lily. It was voted 2010's best new water lily of the year. Wanvisa is a fast grower and great bloomer, showcasing features that have never been seen in a hardy water lily before. The leaves feature splashes of multiple shades of red and green color throughout the pads, and the blooms feature a speckling of creamy light yellow throughout deep orangy flowers. Wanvisa will occasionally have a bloom of solid yellow, or even split part yellow and part orange! Wanvisa is sure to be a pleasing lily for any water garden enthusiast, as it is one of the most unique Hardy Waterlilies available at this time.

SIZE: MEDIUM/LARGE (3' to 6' Spread)
PLANTING CONTAINER: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN
WATER DEPTH: 18" TO 36" (Maximum water depth is for mature water lilies)
USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 3-11

Water Lilies are shipped bare root and will require planting upon arrival.

    I have ordered a few of these now and this one came as quick and healthy as the rest. They have survived well in my pond and this year gave one to Mom for Mothers Day.

    It’s apparently still in the mail, over a week now. I’m doubtful it’ll still be alive when I actually get it. Shame. I was really looking forward to this. Perhaps it’ll be ok. I’ll update if possible. Updated: Five stars. The lily looks incredibly healthy. Large intact leaves with new growth and healthy roots. Beautiful patterns in rich colors. Very happy!

    Wanvisa lily and fertilizer spikes

    Nice sized plants, well packed. Like the concept of the fertilizer spikes in a firm spike. Will be interested to see how the planting bag works. Raccoons were always tipping my pots which had narrower bases.
