White Pickerel Rush (Pontederia cordata 'alba')
A white variety of pickerel rush. The leaves are shiny, dark green and lance shaped. Plant Pickerel in a 2 gallon container or larger, as the rhizome travels across the pot sending up new plants. To overwinter in cold climates, place well below the frost line to protect the roots from freezing.
Hardiness Zone: 5-11
Planting Container: We recommend a 2 gallon solid planting container or a medium planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 24"-30" - Spread: 12" to 24"
Water Depth: Moist soil or water up to 10" deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
